The English level test is typically designed to evaluate the profeciency level of English language of an individual.

This test consists of few multiple choice questions each assesing your different English language skills. 

Please note that this test is not standardized and the results should be used just as an indication of your current level of proficiency. We recomend you to take this test in a quiet room and without any assistance.

English is spoken globally and it has become an essential language for communication, education and business purpose. This language has several proficiency levels which are recognized globally in language teaching and learning, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

There are generally six levels of English proficiency that are recognized in language teaching and learning:

  1. Beginner (A1): At this level, learners will have very little or have no knowledge of English language. Learners can only understand basic English and can use few English basic phrases.

  2. Elementary (A2): People at this stage can only understand basic simple English phrases and expressions such as asking and/or answering questions.

  3. Pre-intermediate (B1): At this level, learners can use English for his or her everyday work like ordering food in a restaurant or asking for directions or book his/her appointment in saloon.

  4. Intermediate (B2): Learners at this level can speak effective English and can understand more complex English sentences like discussing about current political situation and expressing his/her opinion.

  5. Upper-intermediate (C1): At this level, learners have a good command in English and can understand and/or use his/her vocabulary and grammar to structure the sentences.

  6. Advanced (C2): Learners at this level have a near to native level of fluency in English and can understand the use of language in academic and professional settings.

How to obtain certificates that accredit the levels of English

English level A1 :

  1. Cambridge: Pre A1 Starters, Movers, Bulats (0-20 points).

  2. Trinity (1-2 points).

  3. Aptis.

English level A2:

  1. Cambridge: Flyers, KET, Bulats (21-39 points).

  2. IELTS (3.5 points).

  3. Trinity (3-4 points)

  4. Aptis.

English level B1:

  1. Cambridge: PET, BEC, Bulats (40-59 points).

  2. IELTS (4-5 points).

  3. Trinity (5-6 points).

  4. TOEFL (57-86 points).

  5. TOEIC (550-780 points).

  6. Aptis.

English level B2:

  1. Cambridge: First, BEC, ILEC, Bulats (60-74 points).

  2. IELTS (5.5-6.5 points).

  3. Trinity (7-8 points).

  4. TOEFL (87-109 points)

  5. TOEIC (785-940 points).

  6. Aptis.

English level C1:

  1. Cambridge: Advance, BEC, ILEC, Bulats (75-89 points).

  2. IELTS (7-8 points).

  3. Trinity (9-10 points).

  4. TOEIC (945-990 points).

  5. Aptis.

English level C2:

  1. Cambridge: CPE, BEC, Bulats (90-94+ points).

  2. IELTS (8.5-9 points).

  3. Tinity (11-12 points).

  4. TOEFL (110-120 points).

  5. Aptis.
